I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
