Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to power cuts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.
Several individuals were wounded while residents in the city's east were left without electricity and faced interruptions to water supplies, according to municipal leaders.
At the same time, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.
Moscow has increased strikes on energy facilities over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.
"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, European nations and the major economies - in providing defensive weapons and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.
Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.
The energy minister said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were working to repair systems.
A wave of strikes hit electrical systems and civilian homes in the capital.
Several of the people injured in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.
Area administrators said the city endured intense attacks throughout the evening. A minor died and three other people were wounded.
The strikes come after evenings of aerial attacks in the region, portions of which remain under the control of Russian forces.
The whole nation is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to detect.
Authorities told reporters that Russia was deliberately attempting to destroy the country's energy grid, with assaults already disrupting energy systems.
Officials stated energy workers and authorities were anticipating further attacks.
